Charlotte Erupts Again, Hillary Fuels the Fire

The governor declared a state of emergency.  More officers were attacked.  At least one person was shot (Fox News).  Multiple civilians were shot according to this story, not by police (RCP). ABC News called the rioters “who threw bottles at police, blocked an interstate, threw objects at passing cars, jumped on vehicles, looted businesses, vandalized a Hyatt hotel and attacked its employees” mere “demonstrators” (ABC News).  Hillary tweeted anger at the police (Gateway Pundit).  And yet, a story notes “A Charlotte, North Carolina news station says it has confirmed with sources that there is dash camera video that shows Keith Scott getting out of a car and coming at police officers with a gun in his hand” (KWCH).  From another: “Officers approached Scott and gave him multiple warnings to drop the weapon, Putney said. Scott then attempted to get out of the vehicle with the gun in his hand, which is when he was shot by Officer Brentley Vinson, who is black and has been placed on administrative leave, as is standard procedure in such cases. Vinson has been with the department for two years” (CBS News).  More on the Charlotte shooting (CNN).  Meanwhile, a more detailed look at the shooting of Terence Crutcher (ABC News).  Trump had a more sensitive answer to the difficult Tulsa shooting (RCP).
