Biden Heaps Praise on Socialist Sanders

At the expense of Hillary (The Hill). Meanwhile, another story notes “Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton joined her rivals Monday in opposing the Obama administration’s deportation raids targeting Central American immigrants who entered the U.S. illegally and ignored deportation orders” (Fox News). Hillary also noted of Donald Trump “He was basically a Democrat before he was a Republican. He was, you know, somebody we all knew in New York, and he was supportive of Democrats and supportive of a lot of causes I care about and people I knew cared about” (ABC News).

Obama Vents in Anti-Gun Townhall

Obama blamed the NRA for gun sales spikes (Fox News). Obama called it “imaginary fiction” that he is trying to take away guns. As opposed to “real fiction”? Or “imaginary facts”? (Good Morning America). The president also claims “there are neighborhoods around the country where it is easier for a 12 or 13-year-old to purchase a gun, and cheaper, than it is for them to get a book” (Free Beacon). From the American Spectator: Without a teleprompter, he is utterly incoherent. As the meeting wore on Obama came off as patronizing especially towards Kimberly Corban, a rape victim, who want to be able to purchase and carry a weapon to protect herself and her family (American Spectator). Another story notes “President Obama plans to build a new gun control force of 430 agents, more than eight times the size of the team of commandos he is sending to the Middle East to hunt down and destroy ISIS terrorists” (Washington Examiner). German Media and Police Face Backlash for Poorly Handled Reaction to Rapes

Police, who admit they mishandled the situation, are calling the angry reaction to the rapes and murders “at least as awful as the acts of those assaulting the women” (BBC). German media was horribly negligent in reporting the incidents (Breitbart). Victims speak out (Breitbart). Women are helpless to protect themselves: Germany has one of the most strict gun control laws (Law).

Obama Administration Approves Paris Agreement

Although without congress, it is not a treaty (Washington Examiner) though it is very much like a treaty (NRO). John Kerry claims the deal will somehow miraculously create jobs (USA Today). From the Wall Street Journal: …if climate change really does imperil the Earth, and we doubt it does, nothing coming out of a gaggle of governments and the United Nations will save it. What will help is human invention and the entrepreneurial spirit. To the extent the Paris accord increases political control over human and natural resources, it will make the world poorer and technological progress less likely (WSJ). Kerry also claims a candidate can’t “be elected president of the United States if you don’t understand climate change and you’re not committed to this kind of a plan” (CNS News).
