Dennis Prager breaks down the latest case of leftist madness

Dennis Prager: I'm going to read to you something that my producer wonders if they were hacked. It's so incredible, what I'm about to read you. “Incredible” literally means “not credible, not worthy of being believed.” But I believe it because I checked it out. And wasn't it sent to us by a physicist?

Producer: Yeah.

Prager: Is it the physicist that I know?

Producer: Yeah.

Prager: Okay. Well, he's very adamant about truth. The American Physical Society, March 11, 2022. This is the title of the piece in their journal: “Observing Whiteness in Introductory Physics: A Case Study,” by Amy D. Robertson and W. Tali Hairston.

“Abstract: Within whiteness, the organization of social life is in terms of a center and margins that are based on dominance, control, and a transcendent figure that is consistently and structurally ascribed value or over and above other figures.”

Isn't that great?

Producer: Beautiful. So clear.

Prager: The clarity is breathtaking. It is like a sunrise after rain. “In this paper, we synthesize literature from Critical Whiteness Studies,” all capitalized, “and Critical Race Theory,” capitalized, “to articulate analytic markers for whiteness.”

What does that mean? “Analytic markers for whiteness?” Do you know what that means?

“And use the markers to identify and analyze whiteness as it shows up in an introductory physics classroom interaction.”

So, they're identifying whiteness markers in the teaching of physics.

“We name mechanisms that facilitate the reproduction of whiteness in this local context, including a particular representation of energy, physics values, whiteboards, gendered social norms, and the structure of schooling.”

Did you get that?

Hmm. (Reading fast) “We name mechanisms that facilitate the reproduction of whiteness in this local context, including a particular representation of energy, physics values, whiteboards, gendered social norms, and the structure of schooling.”

Thought if I read it fast the second time I'd sort of get the gist.

“In naming whiteness and offering a set of analytic markers … ”? I have to start using that term. I like it. “Analytic markers.” Yeah, yeah.

“… our aim is to provide instructors and researchers with a tool for identifying whiteness in their own contexts.”

Oooo.

“Alongside our discussion, which imagines new possibilities for physics teaching and learning, we hope our work contributes to Critical Whiteness Studies’ goal of dismantling whiteness.” Published by the American Physical Society.

Everything the left touches, it destroys. Everything. There is no exception.
