Mike Gallagher: I watched a video last night of an 85-year-old woman being pummeled, an 85-year-old Asian woman being pummeled by a black man 125 times. Was caught on tape. It's so awful to watch. It makes you want to throw up. She has a brain bleed, broken bones in her face. That guy ought to be in a cage, barely getting three square meals a day for the rest of his miserable, evil, wretched life.

But what do Democrats want to do? They want to use him as a social justice pawn. They don't think that black men should go to jail because black men have gone to jail too much in America's oppressive racist system. And now we have to spring lot of people loose. … “Monster” isn't even a strong enough word. I'm serious. I was so sickened when I saw this poor defenseless woman. …

And the video – if you're watching right now on the Salem News Channel, this monster with his little striped polo shirt on, big fat belly, comes up behind this unsuspecting Asian woman, hits her, cold cocks her, and he just pummels her 125 times. And I'm not kidding you. I have such a visceral reaction to watching this video. It'll turn your stomach. Maybe it's not a good day to watch Salem News Channel because it's so hard to watch, knowing that this 80-something-year-old woman is on the ground being pummeled repeatedly by this man. I can't even call him a man. Animals don't do this. He doesn't even deserve to get the treatment of an animal.

I think what's happening in the streets of America are way more important than what's happening between Russia and Ukraine. I'm sorry. I can't even bear to see this poor woman on the floor, pummeled, stomped. And she may not have been killed in this attack, which really should have killed her, but she'll die soon. I can promise you, her death will come much sooner than it should have. And I can promise you that no decent human being should watch that and think she deserved that. Black-on-Asian crime in America is a thing. It's a thing. And the beast doesn't want to let you talk about it. You're not allowed to talk about the racial component of this. And I'm sick of being told what we're not allowed to talk about. ...

Let me share with you what this New York Asian-American woman went through. The Yonkers police commissioner – this happened in Yonkers, New York – called it one of the most appalling attacks he had ever seen. The 67-year-old woman was walking into her Yonkers, New York apartment building just after 6:00 p.m. Friday, when she spotted the man, identified later and arrested as 42-year-old Tammel Esco. He allegedly called her an “Asian B-word”as she walked by. She ignored him and kept walking. She entered her building's vestibule pushing a cart full of items, was in the process of opening the door into the lobby when he also entered. Video from inside the vestibule – which I'm not going to play anymore, it's just too much – shows the man calmly approaching her from behind, swinging his right hand, punching the woman in the head, and sending her crumbling to the ground.

He cold cocks her from behind, like the cowardly, sniveling little worm that he is. He then, as she's on the ground, stunned from being cold cocked from behind, punched in the jaw – he proceeds to punch her repeatedly and without pause, alternating between his left and right hands as the victim lies on the tile, defenseless. He punches her in the head and face continuously over the course of a minute. He then foot-stomps the woman seven times and spits on her.

The suspect then left the vestibule but remained in front of the building. Several people called 911. The attacker was arrested. He's been charged with attempted murder as a hate crime and second-degree assault. I wonder what first-degree assault looks like as a hate crime? Since the left loves their hate crimes. He was charged with second-degree assault as a hate crime. The victim, the 67-year-old woman, suffered broken bones in her face, bleeding on the brain. She's being hospitalized in what is described as non-life-threatening condition.

What should happen to 42-year-old Tammel Esco, this big, brute, hulking monster of a human being who would do this to a 67-year-old Asian woman? It just makes me crazed. …

I am sick about this. … Soros’ evil reign over bankrolling progressive district attorneys has to stop. We've got to beat these people back at the ballot box. We have got to win. We have got to fire every last one of these sorry people, who are so delusional … that think we ought to have compassion and pity and mercy and let them go free.

Incidentally, I saw Ohio governor Mike DeWine signed into law the ability to carry a concealed weapon permit. If this isn't the biggest commercial for the need to conceal carry, I don't know what is. Because after that first punch, if she had access to a handgun, the world would be rid of a piece of filth like this 42-year-old creature.
